About the Founder

At the heart of DreamBig Initiatives is its visionary founder and Executive Director, Elizabeth Ignass, a compassionate philanthropist and devoted humanitarian. Her journey began with a profound dream—a divine calling that inspired her to dedicate her life to serving children and underprivileged communities. In that moment, she asked God, “What should I do?” and the answer shaped her mission to create lasting change through love, faith, and action.

Elizabeth’s passion for helping children and supporting their growth began early in her life. She devoted herself to volunteering at Huruma Orphanage Children’s Centre, as well as at Ivo Mapunda sports and daycare center, where she gained invaluable experience and acquired skills in understanding child development and learning abilities. These experiences deepened her compassion and strengthened her commitment to uplifting young lives, providing her with the foundation to lead impactful initiatives.

With unwavering determination, Elizabeth has built DreamBig Initiatives as a platform to transform lives. She is driven by the belief that every child deserves an opportunity to thrive, learn, and dream boldly, regardless of their circumstances.
